Website Audit is a paid diagnostic and advisory service. Scope, deliverables, and depth depend on the selected plan.
Payment and VAT

Important limitations
This service is not a penetration test, not a legal compliance certification, and does not guarantee that every issue will be identified.
1. Overview
These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of Website Audit services by Empex Digital.
By purchasing, accepting, or using a Website Audit service from Empex Digital, the customer agrees to these terms unless a separate written agreement has been signed by both parties.
Website Audit services are intended to provide a structured, professional review of websites, online stores, digital platforms, or web applications, depending on the selected plan and the information available to us.
Empex Digital Ltd is a UK company. Company No. 16489057. VAT No. 511230750.
2. Website Audit service
Website Audit is a paid professional service designed to identify weaknesses, risks, technical issues, bugs, missed opportunities, and recommended improvements across a website or web-based system.
The service may include, depending on the selected plan:
The exact content, depth, and deliverables of the service depend on the selected Website Audit plan and the scope that can reasonably be reviewed within that plan.
3. Plans and scope
Empex Digital currently offers the following Website Audit plans:
Basic Audit is intended for smaller websites requiring a practical review and summary of key issues and recommended improvements.
Standard Audit is intended for larger or more detailed websites requiring deeper findings, bug visibility, basic security observations, and indicative cost guidance.
Advanced Audit is intended for more complex websites, e-commerce systems, custom-built platforms, and web applications requiring deeper review and, where included, limited small fixes.
If the website submitted exceeds the reasonable scope of the selected plan, Empex Digital may recommend an upgraded plan or provide a separate quote for additional work.
4. Scope limitations and exclusions
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the Website Audit service does not automatically include:
Any work outside the selected plan may require a separate quote.
5. Client responsibilities
To allow us to deliver the Website Audit properly, the client is responsible for:
Sensitive credentials must not be submitted through public forms or unsecured communication channels.
Delays caused by incomplete information, missing access, inaccurate credentials, third-party restrictions, or lack of timely cooperation may affect delivery and do not create liability for Empex Digital.
6. Payment terms
Website Audit services must be paid in full before work begins.
No audit work is considered confirmed until payment has been successfully completed and the required order information has been received.
The customer agrees to pay the total amount displayed at checkout, including VAT where applicable.
Empex Digital reserves the right not to commence work where payment is incomplete, unsuccessful, disputed, or reversed.
7. VAT
Where applicable, VAT is charged in accordance with UK requirements.
Headline prices shown on our service pages may be displayed excluding VAT. The applicable VAT amount and the total payable including VAT will be shown during the checkout and payment process.
It is the customer’s responsibility to review the final total before completing payment.
8. Turnaround and delivery
Our target delivery windows vary depending on the selected plan.
These are target delivery windows, not guaranteed deadlines.
Turnaround begins once:
Where additional clarification, review access, or technical dependency is required, delivery may take longer.
Final audit reports or deliverables are normally supplied digitally by email or secure electronic delivery.
9. Small bug fixes in Advanced plans
Where an Advanced Audit includes small bug fixes, this refers only to limited, low-complexity corrections that can reasonably be completed within the included scope.
Examples may include:
Small fixes do not include:
Where implementation work goes beyond the included Advanced scope, Empex Digital may provide a separate quote.
10. Security and technical findings
Any security-related findings provided as part of a Website Audit are professional observations and recommendations only.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, the Website Audit service is not:
Findings are based on the selected scope, the access available, the information provided, and the time reasonably available within the plan.
11. Estimates and recommendations
Any prices, cost ranges, implementation estimates, or recommendations included in a Website Audit are indicative unless separately agreed in writing.
A separate implementation proposal, quotation, or project scope may be required before any recommended work is carried out.
Recommendations are advisory in nature and are intended to support decision-making. They do not guarantee future business outcomes, conversion improvements, search ranking improvements, or future technical performance.
12. Refunds and cancellations
Website Audit is a paid professional service involving custom review, analysis, and deliverables. Refunds are therefore limited.
Before work begins
If the customer contacts Empex Digital before work begins and before meaningful service delivery has started, a refund may be considered at Empex Digital’s discretion, subject to any payment processing fees, administrative costs, or already committed time.
After work has started
Once Empex Digital has started reviewing the submitted website, analysing materials, or preparing the audit, refunds will generally not be available.
After delivery
Once the audit report or deliverables have been sent, the service is considered delivered and no refund will be available.
If there is a genuine service issue, Empex Digital will review the matter reasonably and in good faith.
13. No guarantee of commercial or technical results
Website Audit is intended to provide professional insight and recommendations.
Empex Digital does not guarantee:
The service is advisory and diagnostic in nature.
14. Liability and limitations
Empex Digital will provide Website Audit services with reasonable care and skill.
However, Empex Digital shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or business-related losses arising out of or in connection with the Website Audit service.
This includes, without limitation:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Empex Digital’s total liability in relation to the Website Audit service shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific Website Audit order giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Intellectual property and report usage
Unless agreed otherwise, the final report and deliverables provided to the customer may be used by the customer for their own internal business purposes.
Empex Digital retains ownership of its methods, frameworks, templates, presentation systems, working processes, and underlying service structure.
The customer must not misrepresent the report as a certified legal, compliance, or security opinion where it is not.
16. Changes to scope
If, during the course of the audit, it becomes clear that the submitted website, requested review, or underlying system goes beyond the selected plan, Empex Digital may:
Empex Digital is not required to deliver work beyond the selected and paid scope unless separately agreed in writing.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by law.
These terms provide a practical commercial framework for Website Audit services, but they are not a substitute for tailored legal advice.
